Race Fans, Mark Your Calendars: Two Nights of Nonstop Action Coming to Harris Speedway with the Chevrolet Performance CT525 Nationals – September 12–13

Rutherfordton, NC – September 2, 2025 – Get ready, race fans! Harris Speedway is set to roar with excitement as the Chevrolet Performance CT525 Nationals arrive for two unforgettable nights of dirt track action on Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13, 2025.

This year’s event, for the first time at Harris Speedway, promises a can’t-miss lineup, featuring the Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models and the American Racer Modifieds, alongside the crowd-pleasing Southern Wedge Late Models. That’s just the beginning—fans will also get to cheer for their favorite local heroes in Harris Speedway’s weekly divisions, including:

Street Stock

Thunder Bomber

Pure Stock

Ford Outlaws

Front Wheel Drive

“With so many great touring series and our weekly stars all competing in one huge weekend, fans are in for a true showcase of grassroots racing,” said Mitchell Coggins, track promoter. “It’s going to be two nights packed with horsepower, talent, and family fun.”

The Chevrolet Performance CT525 Nationals will spotlight the CT525 engine, a high-revving, all-aluminum powerhouse based on the Chevrolet Corvette LS3, celebrated for its affordability and reliability in dirt racing. With a packed field of competitors, fans can expect thrilling side-by-side action as drivers push these 525-horsepower machines to the limit. The event is a testament to Chevrolet Performance’s ongoing commitment to grassroots motorsports, as evidenced by their long-standing partnerships with series like the USRA and USMTS, where the CT525 has become a staple for cost-effective, high-performance racing.

Gates open at 5:00 PM, racing starts at 7:00 PM each night

Two complete shows featuring touring and weekly divisions

Affordable family pricing with kids under 12 admitted free with a paying adult
